Another Week, Or Two...Catching Up!

Well, Cooper turned 3 on October 14th! His gift was a new tool set with a 'work bench'. He was so excited to play with it!! Here are some pictures from his birthday.

Well we were going to try a new church when they had a 'Fall Festival'. So, we got the kids all dressed up in their costumes (Cooper was a soldier-Daddy and Gracie was a fairy-Tinkerbell). When we got there no one was there, so here are some pictures of them in their outfits!

Here are some pictures of the house. We live in a duplex. Then there's pictures of our front room. I'll get more pictures later. One is of Cooper and Garrett sanding the bookshelf so we could paint it blue (you can see the finished product in the picture of the front room). Then just a regular picture of my big boy...love it, so I had to post it!
This is the Black River, which is just a couple minutes away from us.
That's it for now. There's really nothing new going on here, just still trying to get settled. Gracie's having a hard time right now because I'm trying to get her to switch from the bottle to a sippee...no luck so far!! That girl likes her bottle! Cooper's doing well, just getting bigger everyday! Garrett loves his job, he's so glad he came back into the Army! I'm starting school on the 16th for Healthcare Administration-I'm so excited! I think I'm the one having the hardest time getting adjusted to being here. I'm hoping things will brighten up for me soon, I'm keeping my head up!! I sure do miss everyone back home, can't wait to come home for a visit! The house is still on the market back in Indiana, praying that sells soon!! I think that's it for now, I'll update more later. Thanks for listening!! :)

Grammie's Visit

When we first moved to New York we were blessed to have my mom come with us and help us with the kids while we moved in. Here are some pictures from that time with her. While she was here Gracie celebrated her 1st birthday!! :) There are some pictures of that as well.
When we dropped mom off at the Syracuse Airport, they had a little interactive playroom for the kids to learn all about planes! Here are some pictures of Cooper exploring!

Saying our goodbyes to Grammie! :(
Some of the scenery on the trip to and from the airport.

Hope you enjoyed our update!!! :) More to come soon!

A New Beginning!

I don't have pictures yet, but will update those soon. Just thought I'd write a little about what we've been up to, the past few weeks.
First I'll start out with our house in Lebanon. We had a buyer seriously considering our house & with the 2nd inspection, backed out. So we put our house back on the market...not an easy step, but a necessary one! Prayers are greatly appreciated for the sale of our house & if you know anyone who needs to rent a house, please let us know!
Next we moved up the Fort Drum, NY a week and a half ago. So far, I love it here! I haven't met anyone, but working on making new friends everywhere I go! haha! God has provided us with a beautiful landscape here. The trees are amazing! Our house is a 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath townhouse-I'll post pictures as soon as we're situated.
This is a short post I know, but just thought I'd update since we got internet today!! :) Hope everyone is doing well. I sure do miss everyone back home.
God bless!

It's Been Too Long!!!

I know it's been forever since I've updated this. Here is my attempt to catch you up!!
My cousin Katelyn graduated from Guerrin this year, here are pictures from her graduation.

Cooper absolutely loves balloons, he was busy playing with Katie's balloons the whole time we were at her open house. Cooper & Gracie love going to Katie's house and playing with her.
Garrett got to come home for the 4th of July. The kids loved having him home and spending time with him...of course I did too!!! Here are some pictures from that awesome weekend with Garrett.
These were taken right after I picked him up from the airport-I was so excited to see him. I'm so proud of him!

The kids right after we got home, they were so happy to see him! Cooper went and bought balloons for Garrett (his birthday was July 1st, so we had birthday balloons too).

Cooper playing cornhole...his favorite. Cooper can't wait until his cousin Kolton gets here...he's kissing Aunt Andrea's belly (baby Kolton). Cooper & Gracie are best friends...love it!!
Cooper had his 1st sparkler...he loved it, wasn't so sure at 1st, but Uncle Kraig had a ton, so he got used to them! Katie helping Cooper 'fly'...he loves this game. Uncle Kraig & Seth were putting off fireworks, the kids loved watching them.
A final picture of Cooper & Daddy before Garrett left again...this is priceless.
I think we are all updated now. We just found out that we will be stationed at Fort Drum, New York! This base is way upstate New York...about 30 miles away from Canada! We will be moving here in October...we think!!
